Our tour takes you along one of the most unspoilt river landscapes in Germany: on calm waters you glide past dense alder swamp forests, wide reed belts, mysterious moors, heathland and partly untouched stretches of riverbank. The Wakenitz forms the historical border between Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and offers an impressive interplay of nature and history.

A special highlight is the continuation of the journey to the northern tip of Lake Ratzeburg. There, the narrow river landscape opens up into a wide expanse of lake – a fascinating contrast that surprises many guests. The cruise ends either in Lübeck or at Lake Ratzeburg, depending on the direction you choose – our panoramic cruise is offered in both directions.

You can therefore choose to start in Lübeck and travel to Ratzeburger See – or vice versa. There are also several boarding points along the way, so you can easily hop on and off along the way.

Bicycles can be taken along on prior request, which makes the tour ideal for combining with a subsequent cycle tour through the region.
